Teachers are super busy. We get it!
Here is all the information you need to plan a field trip in one place.
If you have additional questions, please e-mail us. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
+ Length of Field Trip
Field trips generally range from an hour and a half to two hours, but can be longer if you wish to stay for lunch.
You may bring your own lunch or snack and eat it in designated areas in our space. We will store your lunches or snacks in your assigned room during your visit. Please note that we do not provide refrigeration (but can accommodate medications that must be refrigerated). We also have a water fountain on site.
+ Group Size
We can accommodate up to 45 students at one time.
All groups with children between ages three and 18 are required to have one chaperone for every 10 children.
However, we encourage groups to bring additional chaperones to get the best experience. Chaperones are free!
The field trip cost per participant is $15 + tax per child. There is no charge for chaperones. A minimum group size of 15 children is required for field trip pricing.
+ My group is less than 15 people. Do you offer exceptions to the group minimum?
We will do our best to try and accommodate your needs. Please contact us by phone at (862) 267-0611 or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss.
Payment is due in full on the day of your visit. Please note that we are a cashless business, but accept all major credit cards. If you wish to discuss other payment options, please indicate this in your reservation form.
+ Busing and Transportation
There is ample parking for cars, buses and larger vehicles/passenger vans at our location. View directions and parking.
+ What do I need to check in?
Please provide your group name on your arrival - we will be expecting you! You will also be required to provide the number of youth and adults present with the group. If payment is due, please be prepared to make payment.
During colder seasons, coats will be stored during your trip and returned before you depart. Students will not have access to their coats during the trip. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Genius Gems is dedicated to providing an experience that is accessible to all visitors. Please contact us with any questions.

+ Can members of my group bring backpacks and cameras?
Backpacks are permitted at Genius Gems, but we reserve the right to require them to be checked. Cameras and photographs are also permitted, except where otherwise marked.
+ Are payments refundable if I cancel my visit?
