After June 5, 2019, no refunds will be given for withdrawing from summer camp.
Emergencies: If you have a true medical or family emergency and are unable to attend camp please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, however, refunds are at the discretion of the camp director.
Refunds will not be given if:
A child is sent home due to behavioral issues (see Genius Gems Code of Conduct).
A camper decides to drop out of the program early/before the end of camp.
Your child is sick on one or more days of summer camp, and either stayed home from, or was sent home from camp due to fever or other ailments.

Campers have the responsibility to follow the instructions given by camp staff
All parents and campers have the responsibility to behave according to this code of conduct
Rules – the following forms of behavior are considered a violation of the Genius Gems Code of Conduct, and are unacceptable and could result in the immediate dismissal of camper(s):

Using language which is offensive, sexist or racist
Fighting, bullying or any other forms of aggressive behavior
Leaving camp boundaries without permission
Behaving in a manner which is potentially dangerous to self and others
Behaving in a manner which damages or vandalizes the property of others or the Genius Gems campus
Any breach of the Rules or the Code of Conduct will initiate a disciplinary action. Genius Gems reserves the right to suspend or dismiss a camper’s participation in camp activities, without refund of camp tuition, if such disciplinary action is required. Before such a decision is fully made, the camper and parent/guardian will meet with the camp coordinator to determine the best course of action. The first step is a parent phone call. If the behavior persists, the next step is to remove the child from camp for the rest of the day. If further violations persist, the camper will be dismissed from camp, as well as any subsequent enrolled weeks of camp, and no refunds will be given for the rest of that week, or any additional weeks of camp.
